CHALLENGE:
SM Prime, the largest shopping mall and retail operator in the Philippines wanted to acquire Omni Digital and it's blink OTT operation. but to date blink had not been a success. could the OTT play be made sucessful? how fast? and was the purchase of the company wise?
SOLUTION:
through research and a series of workshops the gaps in the current strategy and technology architecture were identified and a plan for audience acquision and conversion devised. based on this analysis Omni Digital was acquired by SM Prime.
RESULTS:
blink saw an impressive jump in usage after changes in the content and distribution strategy. it's goal of being the Netflix of the Philippines is off to a good start.
