BLUEPRINT

a typical project is a 3-5 week process moving rapidly through three phases to the usual deliverables of an exectutive report, implimentation plan and detailed blueprint.
PROJECT WORKSHOP PHASE

workshops are multidimensional involving key stakeholders. the dlw team looks to have present both decision makers and those involved in the workflow of video and metadata. the engagement will assess the strategic organizational considerations then the tactical operational needs to the technical effort into business outcomes. the basic tool of the workshop is the video maturity assessment (VMA) model where we measure current video workflows against best practices and design how to raise performance across all the six capabilities pillars of video creation, management, distribution, engagement, conversion and insight.

PROJECT RESEARCH PHASE

at the beginning of a project and in preparation for the workshop the dlw team reviews any documentation and digital strategy the client can share in order to understand the history and context of the online, mobile and connected tv strategy to date. this typically involves a review of present performance metrics, current technology architecture and business objectives.

PROJECT BLUEPRINT PHASE

the major deliverable is a 25-50 page report detailing the recommended strategy for digital video maturity, with prescriptive tactics on when and how to impliment the plan. accompanying the blueprint is a comprehensive interactive online project plan.

A STANDARD ENGAGEMENT

Typically there are 4 stages to the consultancy. There’s a preparation Research and Plan phase where the dlw digital team reviews all the documentation of the customer in order to understand the history and context of the current situation.

Following the research and planning a consultancy project plan is finalized and we move to a deeper engagement with the customer through a series of onsite Diagnosis Workshops with key stakeholders. These workshops probe deeper into the details of the current situation – the business, user and technical specifics, and then explore the possible options with the customer stakeholders. With a detailed picture of what is and what could be a gap analysis is created and the outline of a plan to close that gap.

Stage three is where the consultancy team brings all the information into a comprehensive Transformation Blueprint. This blueprint is a prescriptive document that recommends a set of coherent actions detailing how the customer moves from its current status to a new, improved, market position.  Towards the end of this stage the customer receives an executive report and the 30-50-page transformation blueprint. Along with the Transformation Blueprint the consultancy delivers a multi-generational Design Roadmap.

The final, and very important on-going, stage is the Plan Traction phase where on a quarterly basis the consultancy team checks with the customer team for a day long visit and an update report, to check and adjust the Transformation Blueprint.

Typically, this consultancy takes approximately 3 months for the first three stages with a retainer for the three quarters of the year which can be extended if needed.
